Each of the variables is named, and you can use the ^ and v keys to move among the variables and set/review them in any order. You can solve for any variable by moving to it and pressing COMPUTE. ROI application REV revenue PROF% profit percentage INVS investment ROI% return on investment B.EVEN application #SLD number sold PRC price FIXC fixed costs VARC variable costs PROF profit percent INVEN application BEGI beginning inventory ENDI ending inventory SOLD cost of goods sold IRR and NPV calculations work by pressing the key, entering/editing the list of cash flows, and pressing COMPUTE. Statistics computes summaries each possible way (linear, log, exp, power). Thus, you can do different curve fitting, yet are not doing list-based statistics. This technique was first used in the -71B. There was a "50th Anniversary" version made of this machine and the 32S. (The anniversary was of HP.) The changes consisted of a modified bezel with insert and an extra logo imprinted on the case. The 14B version was oversubscribed (i.e., more people wanted one than were avaiable) and the 32S version had extras (there were some that no one wanted (then!)). The following may work: You can use INPUT and SWAP to keep two complete calculations going at once. Do the first one, press INPUT, then do your second one. Do SWAP to switch back and forth. Make sure that you have completed any pending operations first. Pressing C or turning the calculator off and on clears both.
